The New Spool is Here: What to Expect and the Journey of Its Development?
Read the story of the development of our new 1 kg spool - discover how the innovation was born and what new possibilities it brings.
In the realm of 3D printing, it's crucial to have materials available that meet the specific requirements of various applications. One of our key products, FRJet, is becoming a popular choice in the electronics industry, particularly due to its properties associated with self-extinguishing and flame retardancy.
Characteristics of FRJet:
FRJet is a PETG-based material that contains a blend of special additives with flame retardant properties. This combination ensures that it meets the UL94 V0 safety standard, making it suitable for applications where flame resistance is emphasized.
Properties of FRJet:
How to Print with FRJet:
While FRJet offers many advantages, printing with it may require some skill. We recommend drying the filament for 8-12 hours at 65°C before use. To avoid blobs on prints and nozzle, reduce the material flow to 95% and turn off object cooling. The optimal printing temperature is around 235°C.
Safety Tests: What does the UL94 V0 standard mean?
The UL94 V0 standard is a criterion for evaluating a material's self-extinguishing properties and its tendency to release flammable drips during combustion. FRJet underwent this test and met all the requirements:
This assessment means that FRJet is suitable for applications where safety and flame resistance are emphasized.
FRJet is a testament to our commitment to providing quality and safe materials for 3D printing. Its properties, combined with flame retardancy and self-extinguishing capabilities, make it ideal not only for the electronics industry but also for other applications where safety is emphasized.
We offer FRJet in white and black colors on 0.5 Kg spools.
